✨ Giant Lanterns – Under the Sea (Winter 2025–26)
From November 14, 2025, to February 22, 2026, the zoo’s spectacular Giant Lanterns trail returns with a magical “Under the Sea” theme. More than 600 beautifully crafted lantern installations bring marine life to light in a mile-long illuminated walk. This popular seasonal event raises awareness of ocean conservation and supports RZSS’s wildlife protection work.

🐾 Wild Discovery Days
Running on selected dates from January through June 2026, Wild Discovery Days feature themed talks, hands-on activities, and crafts that bring visitors closer to understanding animal behaviour and conservation topics.

🦁 Zoo-fari Tours
On selected dates, join a one-hour Zoo-fari Tour to explore behind-the-scenes areas and learn fascinating facts about the zoo’s incredible species.

👶 New Parent Socials

🐧 CAT Saturdays Programme
A fun and educational event running through September 2025 to June 2026, CAT (Conservation Action Team) Saturdays blend play with learning about conservation initiatives and animal care.

🪨 Penguin Love Pebbles
During the February half term (February 14–18), enjoy Penguin Love Pebbles from 10:00–14:00 — a fun experience for younger visitors.
