On Thursday 10^th August, YO! Princes Street in Edinburgh is hosting a special comedy night, with laughter being used to power the iconic kaiten belt – bringing diners their favourite sushi dishes in a way that’s never been done before! The speed of the restaurant’s belt will be determined by how much the audience laughs (detected through microphones in the restaurant).

Comedian and social media superstar Maddy Lucy Dann will be performing at 8PM with a fun-filled set to keep guests laughing!

The laughter detecting tech will remain in the Princes Street restaurant until Thursday 17^th August where local comedians and would-be stand-ups can pick up the mic and test out their best one liners. Sushi-lovers across the country can also bag themselves a free portion of maki by quoting the code ‘YO!MAKIMELAUGH’ when ordering at all UK restaurants until Sunday 20^th August. A free portion of maki will be available for all Deliveroo orders until Wednesday 16^th August.
