Edinburgh City boss Michael McIndoe vented his anger after his side surrendered a one-goal lead going on to lose 4-1 to Stirling Albion.

Returning striker Ouzy See netted a close-range finish three minutes before the interval but visitors Albion upped the tempo in the second half at Meadowbank, notching four in the final 19 minutes to take all three points.

Russell McLean scored a hat-trick with Ross Cunningham also on target for the Binos.

The result leaves City five points adrift of Dumbarton at the foot of Scottish football’s fourth tier.

An exasperated McIndoe said afterwards: I’m annoyed, angry, disappointed, emotions I don’t normally feel. First half we were totally dominant and should have been two up at half-time. But this has happened to us a few times this season, we’re 1-0 up at half-time and we go and lose three or four.

“Three or four times this season we have got on the tailcoats of the teams above us, five or six points, and every single time we’ve bottled it. All the other teams will be having a right smile. So, it’s important we now rally. I’d like to be playing Tuesday night if we could and get another three points on the board.

“But I think we do need some time. We’ve got two weeks to wait before our next league game. We’ll work on it, we’ll fix it. I know we’re bottom of the table but we’ve also won the third most games in the division. We have to deliver, it’s as simple as that.”
